About me
Who am I?
I am Ava’s ex.
Why this
Because people should know with whom they are dealing.
Transparency
Very important
For 17 years, I was in a relationship with a woman whom I supported in building a life in the United States. I welcomed her from China, adopted her son, and worked to create a stable and supportive home. She never worked other than being a housewife. Over time, our relationship changed, and despite my efforts—including professional counseling—our marriage ended in divorce.
Since then, she has changed her name, and I have chosen to document our shared history. My goal is not to accuse or harm, but to provide transparency. I believe that understanding past experiences can be valuable, especially for those entering relationships where financial and emotional dynamics play a significant role.
This website exists to share my experience in an honest, factual way. Everyone deserves to enter relationships with awareness and clarity, and I hope my story can serve as a learning opportunity for others.
Caveat Emptor
This is important because people deserve to make informed choices in their relationships. Too often, individuals enter commitments without fully understanding the long-term consequences of financial control, emotional dynamics, and personal sacrifice. I want to encourage open discussions about these topics so others can recognize warning signs and protect themselves from one-sided relationships that may not be healthy.
Ultimately, this is not about blame—it’s about learning. I share my story to ensure that others have the knowledge and awareness to make the best decisions for their own lives.
